History
This is the 3rd year of CIF sanction for the
Marina High School Lacrosse Team. Three years ago, Marina Lacrosse was
a Club Team that 29 players started. Five of those players came back
to help coach the inaugural 2007 team. Started by Andrew Bonsall. He
and Greg Craven held a summer camp in 2006 that was a success to
help build momentum for the fall and winter pre-season camps. The
addition of Donald Gavin on the coaching staff and the hiring of
permanent Head Coach Carlos Cortez in 2008 has brought stability and
excitement to the program.
